1. General Introduction
Shenzhen Star Instrument Co., Ltd. is one of the leading manufacturers in China in the line of manufacturing various types of single phase and three phase electronic energy meters, and other electronic products, etc. and is recognized as one of the leading manufacturers for electronic meters in China.
Founded in 1993, the factory covered an area of 135,000m2, has 1000 staffs, among them 250 are engineers and technicians, total fixed assets around RMB100,000,000.-(USD12,000,000.-approx.). The factory have been equipped with advanced SMT production line and testing facilities for producing electronic meters which was introduced from Japan, USA, and European countries. The production and quality assurance system of the factory are strictly conform to the ISO 9001 standard, the meters manufactured by the factory have been awarded the golden medal by the Government and ranked the No.1 factory for its quality products in the country.
The factory has constantly modified and expanded its production lines and testing facilities to match with the international trends and meeting the daily increasing requirements from different market either in China or overseas.
The factory is one of the advanced factory in China to investigate and develop electronic meters, and put it into bulk production in 1994. With the factory¡¯s constant efforts in modifying and optimizing the meter design, the electronic meters manufactured by the factory have passed the strict inspection made by the National Power Equipment and Instruments Quality Inspection Center of Ministry of Electricity in China. The quality of the factory¡¯s electronic meters have caught up with international level, and enjoyed high reputation for its optimized design, maintenance free and long using life.
